Frequently Asked questions

Q:    Can I get out of the contract?
A:    It is often the case that you are not even in a contract. This is a common area of confusion
and requires careful analysis by a skilled lawyer.

Q:    Do I have a cooling off period?
A:     If you are selling land you do not have a cooling off right but the buyer might. If you are
buying land, you might have a cooling off right depending on when you entered the
contract and what sort of property it is. There are particular laws governing this area and it
        pays to get proper advice.

Q:    What can Burridge Harris & Flynn offer me?
A:    Honest uncompromising advice based on a thorough understanding of the law, your needs
        and attention to detail.
